Personal Injury Win against Network Rail

Lyons solicitors won a bitterly fought dispute with Network Rail which resulted in damages of £2,800 being awarded to their client.

The client was disembarking from a train Charing Cross station on his way to work when he slipped and fell on ice. The platform was just above the River Thames and the platform frequently got wet as result of spray from the river.

Liability was denied throughout until close to the final trial when a settlement was negotiated resulting in the client obtaining significant damages as compensation for an injury to his knee.
